Like most BCBSKS members, you probably put your ID card in your wallet as soon as it came in the mail. If you haven’t taken a look at it since, here’s your chance to become a little more familiar with all the information it contains.

Understanding My Insurance, part 7

This post is the final in our series, Understanding My Health Insurance.

Now that you’ve visited your provider, there are a few things to consider to know if this particular provider was a good fit for you.

  • Do you feel like the provider listened to your health needs and concerns?
  • Did you feel cared for?
  • Did you feel you were treated fairly by the office staff?
  • Was the provider able to answer your health-related questions and, if not, provide you with alternate resources to find the answers?
