Every summer, the Wichita Open brings something special to south-central Kansas. For Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS), it represents much more than what happens on the course.

A tradition of community
The Wichita Open continues to grow as one of the region’s premier events. In 2025, it generated an estimated $7.5 million in economic impact, supporting local businesses, tourism and jobs while showcasing Wichita as a destination.
But the true impact isn’t just economic. It is found in the relationships built, the partnerships strengthened and the shared commitment to giving back. Throughout the week, the tournament creates opportunities for people to connect. Whether at a clinic, a Pro-Am event or on the course, those moments add up to something bigger: a stronger, more connected community.
Supporting local partnerships
The Wichita Open also continues to support valued community partners. This year, KU Wichita Pediatrics is the beneficiary of the Charity Pro-Am.
Support from that event helps advance important work reaching children and families across the state, including efforts to expand access to care in underserved communities and address critical health needs.
